Marie comes to kitchen design with a unique perspective. After working on Wall Street as an options trader, she served as the general contractor on the redesign of her own kitchen and discovered her true passion: design for culinary aficionados like herself. Upon completion of her own remodeling project nine years ago, Marie entered a college interior design program majoring in architectural and space planning. She soon left the world of finance behind – but not her understanding of the importance of managing budgets, which she brings to each new kitchen design challenge as she helps clients choose appliances, cabinetry, tile and accessories. Her knowledge of high-end appliances is further enhanced by experience as a former consumer care representative. Marie’s passion for cooking has enabled her to develop an innate understanding of how a kitchen must flow. The relationship of a well-functioning kitchen and a beautifully designed space consistently provides a winning outcome for any homeowner. While Marie is frequently called upon to create traditional, timeless kitchens, her sense of style and color often finds her engaged in contemporary designs for new construction and remodeling. In every case, she works closely with the homeowners to understand what they envision, what inspires them, and how each family member will interrelate with the kitchen and its elements.
